    Is it safe to drink

    1. Charlotte

Hi Mick, yes absolutely. There is nothing added to the water like salt etc so it’s still safe to drink. No need for a separate drinking tap. Our electronic water conditioners work by creating a strong electromagnetic field which changes the way the limescale compounds form in your water. Instead of creating large crystals which stick to every surface, they form small crystals which flow on through the water. I can’t believe is this true fit and forget must be something needs to be done like change a filter

    1. Charlotte

Hi Naginbhai, it really is fit and forget – there are no filters or anything to change. Our electronic water conditioners work by creating a strong electromagnetic field which changes the way the limescale compounds form in your water. Instead of creating large crystals which stick to every surface, they form small crystals which flow on through the water This means no more limescale – the unsightly stains you have to clean from your sinks, taps and kettles, and the deposits you can’t see in your heating system and appliances that cause inefficiency and costly repairs! The units have been tested by University of Bath to show that they work, and we are so confident in our units that we offer a 180 day money back guarantee so you can try for yourself in all confidence. I would love to purchase a water imp system but l live in southern Spain and the water is very hard in my particular town. I am a single female who doesn’t know many people as l’ve recently moved here so lm hoping l can fit it myself. I need to confirm where my intake pipe is and nearest electrical socket. How many extension cords would l be allowed to connect together ? I live in a four bedroomed house with two and half bathrooms. Any advice would be gratefully received. Please confirm free shipping so as no surprises on arrival when/if l am confident enough to order a unit from you.

    1. Hi Karen
Once you’fe found where the water intake is, quite often under the sink in the kitchen and your nearest electrical supply, fitting the unit is really easy. All you do is wrap the aerial cable around the pipe and then plug the 2 ends into the unit. The extension cables are for the power supply so that if your nearest electrical socket is more than 2 metres away you can just add the extension lead. There is no real limit to the number you can add.
With the fact that your water is very hard I’d recommend the Super which should be able to cope.
I hope this helps but please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
      Regards

      Andy

I’m building an outdoor shower that my current imp system does not affect. I need one specific to the shower. Can the copper wire be wrapped around the water pipe if it is outside?

    1. Charlotte

Hi Bart, thanks for your question! You can wrap the aerial lead around the pipe outside but the unit itself must be inside because it’s not weatherproof. I hope that helps. Do let us know if you have any further questions, and good luck with outdoor shower!
